Last Chance to Sponsor a Bike!

by Lafayette County Promotions LLC on 05/27/15

We're making another trip to pick up bikes TONIGHT!

For those that aren't aware or aren't sure what goes on, Lafayette County Speedway puts on a HUGE School's Out for Summer Kids' Night this Friday night. We'll have meet & greet with ALL classes where everyone can meet their favorite drivers, walk the track and see the cars up close. Kids get in free, and we hope to have a minimum of 75 bikes to giveaway (HELP US REACH THAT GOAL). The first 200 kids get a free checkered flag to have the drivers sign at intermission. We have scooters, bubbles, driver shirts and other outdoor fun too. And, of course some GREAT RACING! That's all THIS Friday night at LCS.

Someone asked where all the bikes come from - it's all about the community! Individuals, drivers, business, families and more donate money for each bike. We are still looking for some sponsors, so if you're interested in giving back to the children get ahold of us. This is the night we all get to play Santa and make some kids' summer. THANK YOU to all who have sponsored already. It's amazing how one sport, the community and the amazing race fans, drivers and crews provide such a great opportunity each summer.

Sponsoring gets you a bike, advertising on the track Facebook page and website, a few mentions by the announcer the night of, a thank you from the track in the paper and a sign on your bike in hopes the child who wins sends you a personal thank you.

We estimate that more than 300 children, 650 adults and 200 drivers and crews attend this event each year. That's more than 1,000 people in one place in Lafayette County providing a fun-filled family night of entertainment. We hope to see YOU at the track THIS Friday night for the official kick off to summer!
