Lafayette County Fair Brings INEX Legends & IMCA Late Models

by Lafayette County Promotions LLC on 07/07/15

This year’s Lafayette County Fair race moves to Friday night and will feature six classes of racing, including the Wisconsin INEX Legends traveling series. This will be the first time this class has raced in Darlington. Along with the Legends, there will also be the always-popular IMCA type late models. These late models last raced in Darlington on June 19th where long-time local favorites competed again some of the tri-states very best.

In addition to the two new classes, the four weekly classes will be racing July 17th.  The always-competitive modifieds have continued to bring new winners and new cars to the track each week. The same goes for the SportMod division, the track’s largest class. Averaging 22-24 cars per night, the SportMod division features drivers young and old looking to race competitively with others from Wisconsin, Iowa and Illinois each week. The two entry-level classes, Four Cylinders and Sportsman Trucks, will also be racing Friday night of the fair. The newest class to the track, Sportsman Trucks, continues to grow each week and offers drivers an opportunity to race for fun at an economical price.

It’s sure to be a family-fun night for adults and children Friday, July 17th at the Lafayette County Fair with six classes of fast-action dirt track racing.
